3. How We Collect Personal Data

We may collect personal data directly from you, when you create an account or place an order, when you use softiyex.com or softiyx.com, when you contact support, through cookies and similar technologies, from payment providers, from analytics or advertising platforms and from fraud-prevention providers.

Information may be transferred between softiyex.com and softiyx.com where necessary to process checkout, confirm payment, deliver the product, prevent fraud or provide support.

4. How We Use Personal Data

Processing and delivering orders

We use customer and order information to process purchases, verify payment, send confirmations, deliver digital products, send licence or activation information, maintain records and handle cancellations, replacements or refunds.

Providing support

We use support information to respond to questions, identify orders, investigate installation or activation problems, provide troubleshooting, replace incorrect information and manage complaints.

Managing customer accounts

Where an account is created, data may be used to provide access, display order history, save preferences, secure the account and reset passwords.

Operating and improving the websites

Technical and usage information may be used to operate the websites, maintain security, detect errors, understand performance, improve navigation and checkout and test design or functionality changes.

Fraud prevention and security

Data may be used to verify orders and payments, identify suspicious activity, prevent fraud, prevent licence misuse, investigate chargebacks, protect customers and enforce our Terms.

Legal, tax and accounting obligations

Data may be processed to issue invoices, maintain accounting records, comply with tax obligations, respond to lawful requests and establish or defend legal claims.

Marketing and advertising

Where permitted, data may be used to send promotional emails, measure advertising performance, create advertising audiences, show relevant advertisements and understand whether an advertisement resulted in a visit or purchase.

5. Legal Bases for Processing

Depending on the purpose, Softiyex relies on:

  • Performance of a contract: to process orders, confirm payment, deliver products, provide support and handle refunds or replacements.
  • Legal obligation: to comply with tax, accounting, consumer-protection and lawful authority requirements.
  • Legitimate interests: to prevent fraud, secure the websites, investigate disputes, improve services, answer enquiries and establish or defend legal claims.
  • Consent: where required for non-essential cookies, analytics, advertising and certain marketing communications.

Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.

6. Orders and Digital Delivery

When you place an order, we process the information necessary to complete the transaction and deliver the purchased product, including name, email, billing information, product purchased, order number, payment status, delivery status and activation or support history.

Because Softiyex sells digital products, the checkout email may be used to send confirmations, download information, licence or activation details, instructions, important notices and support communications.

7. Payment Providers

Payments may be processed by independent providers shown during checkout. They may process payment-card or account information, billing information, transaction details, device and IP information, fraud-prevention data and authentication information under their own legal obligations and privacy notices.

Softiyex receives only the information necessary to confirm, manage, refund or investigate a transaction.

8. Customer Support Communications

If you contact Softiyex through email, a contact form, WhatsApp or another support channel, we may process your name, email, telephone number, order number, product information, message content, device details, screenshots, error messages and communication history.

Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information, passwords or complete payment-card details.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Softiyex uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the websites and, subject to visitor choices, measure performance and advertising.

Cookies may support security, shopping-cart operation, checkout, customer authentication, language preferences, fraud prevention, traffic analysis and campaign measurement.

Necessary cookies

Necessary cookies support essential functions and may be used without consent where strictly necessary to provide a service requested by the visitor.

Analytics and advertising cookies

Analytics and advertising cookies are used according to the visitor’s consent choices where consent is legally required. Visitors should be able to accept, reject, select categories and later change or withdraw their choice through the cookie-preference controls.

10. Analytics and Advertising Services

Subject to cookie choices, Softiyex may use Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel and other analytics, conversion-measurement or advertising services.

These services may process cookie identifiers, IP address, device and browser information, pages visited, product and cart interactions, campaign information, purchase events and approximate location under their own privacy terms.

11. Marketing Communications

Softiyex may send marketing emails where you have provided consent or marketing is otherwise permitted by law and you have not opted out.

You may unsubscribe using the link in an email or by contacting support@softiyex.com. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary order, security, refund or support messages.

12. How We Share Personal Data

Softiyex does not sell personal data.

Limited data may be shared with payment processors, hosting providers, email providers, WordPress and WooCommerce service providers, analytics services, advertising platforms, fraud-prevention services, support tools, cloud or backup providers and professional legal, tax or accounting advisers.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law, in response to a valid legal request, to establish or defend claims, to prevent fraud or in connection with a business restructuring subject to appropriate safeguards.

13. International Data Transfers

Some service providers may process personal data outside Spain or the European Economic Area. Where required, Softiyex seeks to use appropriate safeguards such as an adequacy decision, approved standard contractual clauses, additional technical measures or another legally recognised transfer mechanism.

14. Data Retention

Softiyex keeps personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to comply with legal obligations.

  • Orders and contractual records: for the customer relationship and applicable legal limitation periods.
  • Invoices and commercial documentation: for periods required by Spanish tax, accounting and commercial law.
  • Support records: while necessary to resolve the issue and manage complaints or disputes.
  • Account information: while the account remains active and for a reasonable period afterwards where necessary.
  • Fraud and dispute records: while needed to investigate and establish or defend legal claims.
  • Marketing data: until consent is withdrawn, the customer unsubscribes or the information is no longer required.
  • Cookie and analytics data: according to the periods stated in the relevant preference panel or provider settings.

After the relevant period, personal data will be deleted, anonymised or securely restricted where appropriate.

15. Data Security

Softiyex uses reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, misuse, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

No online system can guarantee absolute security. Customers should protect their email accounts, devices, passwords and login credentials.

16. Your Data-Protection Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent and safeguards regarding qualifying automated decisions.

To exercise a right, contact support@softiyex.com, state the right you wish to exercise and provide enough information to identify the relevant data. We may request reasonable identity verification.

17. Complaints to the Supervisory Authority

You may contact Softiyex first so that we can try to resolve your concern. You also have the right to submit a complaint to the competent data-protection authority.

For Softiyex in Spain, the supervisory authority is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).

18. Automated Decision-Making

Softiyex does not normally make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects for customers.

Payment processors and fraud-prevention providers may use automated systems to assess transactions under their own privacy terms. Where an order is automatically blocked or placed under review, additional verification may be conducted where appropriate.

19. Required Information

Some information is necessary to process an order or provide support. Without a valid email address, payment confirmation and sufficient order information, Softiyex may be unable to complete the transaction, deliver the product, locate the order or process a remedy.

20. Children’s Privacy

Softiyex’s services are not directed at children. Persons without legal capacity to enter a purchase agreement should use the website only with a parent or legal guardian.

If we learn that personal data from a child has been collected unlawfully, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

21. Third-Party Links and Services

The websites may contain links to third-party websites, software publishers, payment services or support resources. Softiyex does not control the privacy practices or security of independent third-party websites.

22. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Softiyex may update this Policy to reflect legal or regulatory changes, website changes, new providers, new payment or delivery methods, analytics or advertising changes, or changes to business operations.

The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
