Refunds & Returns Policy

Clear rules for digital delivery, order issues, replacements and refund requests.

Last updated: July 2026

This refunds and returns policy explains how Softiyex handles cancellation requests, refunds, replacements, delivery issues and support requests relating to digital software products purchased through our websites.

Softiyex sells digital products that may include licence keys, download information, activation instructions, installation files, account access details or other digitally delivered product information. Because these products are supplied electronically, they cannot be physically returned.

Nothing in this Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply under the law of the customer’s country.

1. Before Placing an Order

Before purchasing, please review the product page carefully, including:

  • product name and edition;
  • supported operating system;
  • device and compatibility requirements;
  • delivery and activation method;
  • licence duration;
  • region or language restrictions;
  • what is and is not included.

If you are unsure whether a product is appropriate for your device, please contact Softiyex before completing the purchase.

Customers are responsible for entering a valid email address and selecting the correct product, platform and version. This does not affect mandatory legal rights where a product is defective, incorrectly described or different from what was ordered.

2. Digital Delivery

Products are delivered electronically to the email address provided during checkout or through another method described on the relevant product page.

Depending on the product, delivery may include:

  • a licence or activation key;
  • download information;
  • installation and activation instructions;
  • account or login details;
  • access to a digital service;
  • other information required to use the product.

Please check your inbox, spam, junk and promotional folders. If the order has not arrived, contact support@softiyex.com and provide the order number or checkout email address.

Some orders may be securely processed through softiyx.com, the checkout domain used for Softiyex purchases. References to Softiyex in this Policy include orders completed through that checkout domain.

3. Right of Withdrawal for Digital Content

Where a statutory cooling-off or withdrawal right applies, the customer may have the right to cancel the contract within the period established by applicable law.

For digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, the customer may lose the withdrawal right once delivery or performance has begun, but only where the customer has:

  • expressly requested or consented to immediate delivery during the withdrawal period; and
  • acknowledged that beginning delivery may result in the loss of the withdrawal right.

Mandatory rights relating to defective, non-conforming or incorrectly supplied digital content remain unaffected.

4. When a Refund or Other Remedy May Be Available

Depending on the circumstances, Softiyex may provide technical assistance, corrected instructions, replacement access, a replacement product, a price reduction or a refund.

A remedy may be available where:

  • the product was not delivered;
  • a different product was delivered from the one ordered;
  • the information supplied was incomplete or incorrect;
  • a licence or activation method supplied by Softiyex does not work;
  • the product does not match the description presented before purchase;
  • the product cannot be used because of an issue attributable to Softiyex;
  • Softiyex cannot bring the product into conformity within a reasonable period;
  • applicable consumer law otherwise requires a refund or another remedy.

Softiyex may first attempt to correct the issue by providing support, replacement information or a replacement product, where this can be done without unreasonable inconvenience to the customer.

5. Replacement Products

A replacement may be offered where:

  • the delivered product does not match the order;
  • a valid licence or activation detail needs to be replaced;
  • the delivery information is incomplete;
  • corrected instructions or access details will resolve the problem;
  • the customer and Softiyex agree that another compatible product is a suitable solution.

A replacement does not remove mandatory legal rights if the replacement also fails or cannot be provided within a reasonable time.

6. Situations Where a Discretionary Refund May Be Refused

Subject to mandatory consumer rights, Softiyex may refuse a discretionary refund where:

  • the correct product was delivered and successfully activated;
  • the customer changed their mind after immediate digital delivery began with the required consent;
  • the customer selected the wrong edition, operating system or platform despite clear information on the product page;
  • the customer’s device does not meet clearly stated system requirements;
  • the problem is caused by third-party software, device configuration or circumstances outside Softiyex’s control;
  • the customer has used, transferred, disclosed, resold or otherwise compromised a licence or access credential;
  • the customer refuses to provide reasonable information needed to identify or reproduce the reported issue;
  • the request is fraudulent or abusive.

Softiyex will not require a customer to surrender mandatory consumer rights or accept unreasonable troubleshooting measures as a condition for receiving a lawful remedy.

7. Activation and Installation Support

Before requesting a refund for an installation or activation issue, please contact the support team so that the problem can be reviewed.

Please provide, where relevant:

  • order number;
  • checkout email address;
  • product name and version;
  • operating system and device details;
  • a clear description of the issue;
  • screenshots or exact error messages.

Customers are expected to cooperate reasonably with troubleshooting. Softiyex may suggest installation steps, compatibility checks or corrected activation instructions.

8. Incorrect Product or Compatibility Issues

Customers should verify compatibility before purchasing.

Where a customer purchased the wrong product, Softiyex may, at its discretion, offer an exchange, store credit or another solution, particularly where the original product has not yet been delivered, activated or used.

Where incorrect compatibility information was provided by Softiyex, the customer may be entitled to a replacement or refund.

9. Orders Not Received

  1. Check the inbox, spam, junk and promotional folders.
  2. Confirm that the email address entered at checkout was correct.
  3. Allow any delivery period stated on the product page or order confirmation.
  4. Contact support@softiyex.com.

Where delivery cannot be completed, Softiyex will resend the order, correct the delivery address where possible or provide another appropriate remedy.

10. How to Request a Refund or Remedy

Contact Softiyex as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the issue.

Send the request through the Contact Us page or email support@softiyex.com and include:

  • full name;
  • order number;
  • email used during checkout;
  • product purchased;
  • requested solution;
  • clear explanation of the issue;
  • relevant screenshots or error messages.

Submitting complete information will help Softiyex review the request more quickly. Any voluntary timeframe stated by Softiyex does not shorten statutory limitation periods or mandatory consumer rights.

11. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, it will normally be returned through the original payment method.

Softiyex will initiate an approved refund without unreasonable delay. The time required for the amount to appear in the customer’s account may depend on the bank, card issuer or payment processor.

12. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers are encouraged to contact Softiyex before opening a chargeback or payment dispute, as many delivery or activation issues can be resolved quickly by the support team.

This request does not remove or restrict any right the customer may have to contact their payment provider or use an applicable dispute-resolution process.

Softiyex may provide order, delivery, activation and support records to the payment provider when responding to a dispute.

13. Abuse, Fraud and Licence Misuse

Softiyex may reject a refund request where there is reasonable evidence of:

  • fraudulent payment activity;
  • unauthorised use of another person’s payment method;
  • repeated abusive refund claims;
  • resale or unauthorised distribution;
  • sharing or publication of licence or account information;
  • manipulation of screenshots or technical evidence.

This section does not affect legitimate consumer claims.
